Specific Example of Student Success or Achievement:

Had a first grade student that came in knowing about 2-3 sight words and they now know about 40, this same student couldn't write her own name to start the year and she now can, and she is now fluently using the strategy "Count On" to add.

In my evaluations done by my principal, they have noted how respectful I am to each student, how safe and comfortable my students are in my classroom, and that I hold them to a high level of expectation. She has also noted that I do not seem to be a first year RSP teacher, she has said that the way I teach makes it seem like I have been doing the job for several years already.
